About the event
With thanks to the Wild Flower Society we are offering training to help build attendees skills and confidence in recording and monitoring wildflower and grass species.
We are pleased to say that this evening session will be run by a member of the Somerset Botany Group in Longrun Meadow, Taunton. As many of the species found in semi-improved and amenity grasslands are quite common, this course offers a great introduction to basic wildflower identification for beginners and those who are keen to improve their own lawns and share their learning for the benefit of wildlife in community spaces.
We are able to offer this training free of charge with thanks to a grant from the Wildflower Society.
We encourage attendees to use sustainable travel where possible, however for those needing to drive parking is available free of charge at the SWT office (34 Wellington Road) which is a 2 minute walk from Longrun Meadow.
