Help nature return to Honeygar

It is only with your support that we can transform Honeygar, an 81 hectare, nature-poor dairy farm at the heart of the Avalon Marshes, into a pioneering wilding site which demonstrates that putting nature in charge can be a powerful solution to both the ecological and the climate crises. Located at the heart of the Avalon Marshes the site is an opportunity to connect local nature reserves and to strengthen the county's nature recovery network, enabling wildlife to migrate across the wider landscape.

We will be rewetting Honeygar’s precious peat soils so that a variety of habitats form. This will encourage wildlife to return and hopefully turn the site from being a carbon emitter to a valuable carbon sink. Rewetting will also help preserve the site’s important archaeology.  Read more about Honeygar here.

£3.16m is what we have already raised thanks to generous supporters and grant givers and our Honeygar appeal

£240k is how much we still need to find

You can still donate to our Honeygar appeal to help us reach our overall Honeygar project target but your gift will no longer be matched. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated – over 1,200 people – which means our Honeygar appeal has already raised over £100,000!
