The Great Bear Rainforest
Tuesday 24 September 19:30 - 21:00
Found on the north west coastal region of BC, Canada, the GBR is the largest temperate rainforest on the planet. The ancient rainforests and nutrient-rich ocean, support wildlife and ecosystems as they have been for thousands of years. Fanny Charles and Richard Mansfield will talk about their visit there in 2018, the wildlife seen and the lives of some of the people they met on their 9 day trip. They’ll also look at some of the ecological challenges faced by the GBR today.
