About the event

Spend the morning with Tilda Gibbs from The Somerset Wildlife Trust on a Wild Beach adventure at Brean Down Beach exploring the rockpools and boulders searching for the fascinating creatures hiding in and under the seaweed. Find out some cool and gruesome facts about the trials of rockpool life through games and challenges, learn some great rock-pooling tips and hopefully make some new discoveries along the way.

What to bring

Come dressed prepared for all weathers bring warm layers, winter woollies and waterproofs and wellington boots – and definitely a spare pair of socks! Please don’t bring nets as these can damage rockpool creatures and often disturb the sediment. We shall provide everything you need for a great seashore safari!

Wildlife Trust staff will give us a briefing on what to expect before we start.
