About the event

Come and join our Taunton Green Space Volunteers for a coppicing sessions at our beautiful Thurlbear Woods Nature Reserve on the Blackdown Hills. This is a wellbeing focused group who are friendly and welcoming to new members. Come along just for the day and if you enjoy it you might like to join the group who operate mainly on the greenspaces of Taunton.  Volunteers are asked to wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear and to bring a packed lunch. The exact meeting location will be given on booking and there will be limited transport available from Taunton if you aren’t able to get to the reserve independently.
