Whether you're exploring the streets of Taunton, the riverside paths of Bridgwater, or the parks and gardens of Yeovil, Somerset's urban wildlife offers endless photographic opportunities. With careful observation, patience, and a respect for nature, you'll discover that some of the county's most memorable wildlife moments happen just a short walk from home.

  • Entries must be in a landscape or portrait format (not a square)
  • Image filenames must take the format firstname-surname-location eg. jane-jones-westhay
  • Use the description to tell us about the photograph you are entering. Please include any details you think might be relevant. ie, species, detailed location information, camera used etc;
