About the event

Join the Coastwise Somerset Specialist Group on one of their regular intertidal surveys of marine organisms. Learn how to identify key species of animals and algae and find out how to help contribute to this long running national community science project and how to join our survey team. No prior knowledge is required. This session is targeted at adults (over 18).

What to bring

Bring appropriate clothing for the weather (waterproofs and/or sun protection), a snack (packed lunch) and a drink. Wellington boots or waterproof footwear with a good grip are required (we will be walking through rockpools and muddy/sandy areas).
