We look forward to seeing you there!
Our AGM is to be held at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, Taunton on 14th November 2026 from 11am-1pm, to celebrate with us, meet the trustees and staff. Thank you all for buying your tickets in advance!
Our 62nd Annual General Meeting is your chance to get right to the heart of the Somerset Wildlife Trust’s work: to hear directly from our leadership, vote on key resolutions, and meet the staff and trustees shaping Somerset’s nature recovery. It’s an important moment to understand what’s happening across the organisation and to play an active role in guiding its future.
The AGM provides members with a transparent overview of the Trust’s performance, priorities and governance. You’ll hear from trustees and senior staff about our work over the past year, including progress across conservation programmes, organisational developments, and the challenges and opportunities ahead. Members will be invited to review the annual report and accounts, ask questions, and vote on formal resolutions that help shape the Trust’s direction.
If you’re new to AGMs or simply want to feel more prepared, you can read our “What to expect at our AGM guide”- a short, reassuring overview designed to help first‑time attendees understand the format, feel confident, and know exactly what to expect on the day.
Whether you’re newly involved or a long‑standing supporter, the AGM is a valuable opportunity to meet the people leading our work, understand how decisions are made, and contribute to the future of Somerset’s wildlife and wild places.
Proxy voting
If you are unable to attend the AGM, you will be able to complete a proxy form so your vote can still be counted. The proxy form will only become available when the formal Notice of Meeting is issued in October. Once published, it will be accessible on this page and a link included with the Notice sent to all eligible members.
