Exmoor Wildlife Celebration
About the event
This Autumn 19 pine martens have returned to the woodlands of Exmoor under the Two Moors reintroduction project!
You’re invited to join us to celebrate Exmoor’s wonderful wildlife at Horner Farm, deep in the woodlands of Exmoor.
There is a whole host of activities running 12pm-2.50pm and dark skies storytelling from 3pm. Please note some of the activities require booking.
12pm-2.50pm stalls and activities including:
Visit a release pen used during the Exmoor translocation, happening at:
12-1pm Book your place
Have a go a radiotracking (drop in activity)
Discover our needle felt woodland scene, make a pine marten finger puppet or face mask (drop in activity)
Discover lichens and riverfly with National Trust in the mini BioBlitz (drop in activity)
Create a butterfly wand with Exmoor National Park Authority and learn about water vole and marsh fritillary (drop in activity)
Try out your skulls skills, do a spot of nest identification and collect a host of wildlife ID sheets to take home with West Somerset Wildways (drop in activity)
Meet Minehead Coast and Development Trust and hear about the Climate Adaptation Plan (drop in activity)
Try a Treelaxation session with herbal tea, happening at:

Dive into a world of woodland stories with Chris Salisbury under the dark skies: Book your place
Car park is a National Trust car park which is pay and display or free for National Trust members (please bring your National Trust card to scan).
