About the event

Led by Vanessa Lloyd of the Sea Watch Foundation, this session will start with an introduction in a classroom at Kilve Court Outdoor Centre. This will include an illustrated talk on the general biology and classification of cetacean species, species identification, conservation issues and recommended survey methodology. This will be followed, after lunch, by a sea watch at Kilve Beach to put our skills into practice. You can either drive from the Centre to the Beach or it is a 30 minute walk .
