About the event
Approximately 96% of British Lepidoptera are moths! 150 -200 are day flying, 2300 however are night flyers and seldom seen or imagined by the general public.
This talk by Neale Mellersh aims to introduce amateur naturalists to the largely hidden world of moths. Focus will be on Somerset and principally the presenter's town garden. Mention will be made of trapping techniques and care of moths as well as how to garden to attract them and how to identify and start a garden list and consider getting your findings into the national database.
PLEASE NOTE: Although the map points to Berrow, this is in fact an ONLINE event.
