Minehead Big Beach Clean
About the event
Somerset Wildlife Trust and Plastic Free Minehead are leading a coastal litter pick at Minehead as part of the National Marine Conservation Society BiG Beach Clean weekend. The clean will start at 2pm outside Channel Adventure. As well collecting rubbish from the beach we will also be looking for litter above the tideline in green spaces behind the sea front. After the clean we will gather to sort the litter that has been collected. The event will end around 4pm. This event is part the campaign to get Minehead recognised as an SAS Plastic Free Community. This campaign is supported by local businesses and other partners.
