About the event

Discover some of the amazing marine life found in the intertidal zone along the Somerset coast and help to carry out a survey of species found on the shore. If you like, you can also learn to record the species you find in a nature journal. We will explore some of the important issues facing our marine environment and look at how young people can both volunteer and begin to prepare for careers in Ocean Science.

This event is part of the Wilder Youth project and is for those between 12 and 24 years old. We do not expect parents/guardians to attend with those under 18, you will be sent a parental consent form ahead of the event.
