About the event

Get ready to unleash your artistic side and enjoy a relaxing day of crafting at this pine marten needle felting workshop! Join us in The Green Room at The Exmoor Pony Centre to learn how to needle felt your very own pine marten with expert guidance from The Woolly Nannas. The day will start with a 1 hour talk with Q&A on the Pine Martens Bounce Back Project by Somerset Wildife Trust, so that you can learn more about the reintroduction taking place on Exmoor in 2025. After a cuppa and a biscuit, settle in for a 4 hour needle felting workshop to create your very own pine marten or other woodland animal to take home with you.

No prior experience needed, any skill level welcome, however, small children cannot attend the workshop for health and safety reasons and so we ask that all attendees be age 10+. All craft materials will be provided, as will tea, coffees & snacks, but please bring your own packed lunch on the day. You will need to arrange your own transportation to the event location and parking may be limited so please lift share if coming with other attendees. Toilet facilities including disabled toilet at the venue.
