Pine marten (Martes martes) two on fallen pine log in woodland, Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve, Wester Ross, Scotland, UK - Mark Hamblin/2020VISION
Talk for tourism & hospitality businesses on the Two Moors pine marten project
About the event
If you're working in tourism or hospitality in the national park, likely you'll be meeting with members of the public daily who all want to know, 'what's new and happening on Exmoor'? In 2025 a new neighbour is coming to the woodlands of Somerset - our native pine marten! Join this talk to get an in depth look at the project. The information you learn on the day will equip you for questions your guests and clients may have about pine martens and the project, ahead of the busy summer season.
Throughout the morning you'll hear about:
- Pine martens, what they are and how they live
- The Two Moors Pine Martens Bounce Back reintroduction project happening this year on Exmoor
- Resources available under the project
- How you might incorporate this exciting project into your workplace in tourism or hospitality
This event is for anyone currently working in tourism or hospitality and is a FREE event. Please book your place on Eventbrite.
If you're not currently working in tourism or hospitality but would still like to hear about the Two Moors project, please instead join one of our drop-in sessions happening in June & July: https://twomoorspinemartens.org/events/
