Facilitator – Mendip Hills
£23,001 - 24,694 per annum pro-rata (subject to experience). Fixed term contract until October 2021, 3 days per week, based at Cheddar, Somerset
Somerset Wildlife Trust is seeking an exceptional individual for this exciting role within the Trust. Working with landowners and external organisations in the Mendip Hills as part of our Countryside Stewardship Facilitation Fund project, you will be helping to restore, recreate and link up valuable grassland and woodland habitats across the Mendip Hills Living Landscape.
You will have proven experience of working with land owners and managers, providing nature conservation advice as well as working knowledge of habitat and species management. You will also have experience of project and budget management, writing reports and claims. You will have substantial knowledge of Countryside Stewardship as well as the ecology of UK grassland and woodland habitats and species, including habitat surveys and GIS mapping.
