An Evening with Mike Dilger (and AGM)
Saturday 19th November 2016, Queen's College, Taunton
This year we are delighted to welcome wildlife presenter, Mike Dilger, from the BBC’s ‘The One Show’. Mike will be giving an interactive and illustrated talk entitled ‘The Trials & Tribulations of a Wildlife Presenter’, which will take us through some of his favourite wildlife filming experiences from around the world, punctuated with some wonderful and amusing ancedotes.
With two degrees, one in Ecology and the other in Botany, and a life-long passion for Natural History, Mike has risen quickly in the world of presenting and is a regular face on BBC1’s The One Show and is also the co-presenter on ‘Natures Top 40’ BBC 2. He has been a presenter on the BBC’s ‘Autumnwatch’, ‘Springwatch’ and ‘Natures Calendar’, and is one of BBC 1’s ‘Inside Out’ presenting team.
(Mike’s talk will be preceded by Somerset Wildlife Trust’s AGM, which is open to members only)
