Introduction

Preventing accidents and ill health is a key priority for Somerset Wildlife Trust. We are doing our utmost to keep staff, volunteers, students and members of the public safe whilst they are at work or enjoying wildlife.

In consultation with the staff, volunteers and trustees we have put this document together to create clarity about expectations, liability and accountability regarding to Health & Safety and have made it as accessible and easy to navigate as possible.

We would like to encourage you to use the digital PDF version as much as possible and only to print what is relevant to your area when needed as the digital version will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
