Somerset's Wildlife Gardens are open again this year!


Come along to see some of the incredible gardens of the county, all owned by wonderful gardeners and wildlife enthusiasts who have opened them for you to enjoy. Better still, all proceeds go towards our work. 

Entry fee for each garden is £4 per person 

Tea and cake is available to buy too - please see below for more details and we look forward to seeing you there!


Snowdrop Garden

Friday 16th February 11:00 - 15:00  

This beautiful garden will open for their stunning Snowdrop display. Please bear in mind that as with all flowers, we cannot guarantee that they will be at their finest on this date, but we hope so! 

No refreshments on site, however tea and cake available at The lanes Hotel, High Street, West Coker, BA22 9AJ. Tea and cake will cost £7.00 per person. and booking advisable on 01935 862555.

Parking available on the road in the village. No dogs allowed at this particular garden. Due to the terrain of this garden there is no wheelchair access.

Stunning display of hellebores and an abundance of spring flowers will be found at this wonderful garden. There are many places to sit and enjoy the peace and beauty of the nature found here.

Tea and cakes served and parking available on the road. Dogs are welcome on leads.

Hillcrest resizedThe wildlife rich meadow and stunning garden will be full of spring flowers….a perfect spot to revive after the long winter. This is the first time Charlotte and Charles have opened in the Spring.

Tea and cakes served and parking is available on nearby field if dry. Dogs are welcome on leads.

Friday 18th May 11:00 - 16:00 

Bracondale is a fabulous example of a garden that we can all try to create. There is a small meadow and pond attracting all kinds of wildlife. A calm space to sit and ponder.

Tea and cakes served, parking available on the road. No dogs allowed at this particular garden. Due to the terrian of this garden there is no wheelchair access.

  Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May 14:00 - 17:00  

A chance to see these stunning gardens again, and view the beautiful meadow created and looked after by Charlotte and Charles. It is an essential wildlife haven that attracts and protects the local species that in turn gives so much joy to everyone that visits!

Tea and cakes served, dogs are welcome on leads. Parking available in nearby field if dry.

Henley Hill farm Henley

Wednesday 6 June 11:00 - 16:00 

Come along to the inspiring Henley Hill Farm to see Wildflower and Grass rich meadows and pastures with incredible views. The meadow has been studied by experts from Somerset Wildlife Trust who could not believe just how  many species of flora and fauna they found. 

Tea and cakes served, parking available. No dogs allowed at this particular garden and no wheelchair access. Please not there is a short uphill walk to the meadow

Model Farm shows how much nature can create a sanctuary within a decade. Dave and Roz have made a beautiful garden bursting with wildlife, a joy to spend time in.

Tea and cakes served in The Loggia. Dogs are welcome on leads. Parking available in nearby field if dry.

Saturday 30 June 11:00 - 16:00 

Witness an incredible wildlife pond and garden with walks along the River Frome. Caroline, owner of this wildlife jewel, was complemented on what she had created by a top Garden designer when she opened for Somerset Wildlife Trust last year! Why not see for yourself and combine your visit with a visit to Nunney castle.

Tea and cakes served, parking available along the road. No dogs allowed at this garden and no wheelchair access.

Visit this wonderful flower farm with posies to be made. Helen is a flower farmer! Using her beautiful blooms , she creates bouquets and arrangements for all occasions. Come and see how she has done this and create  your own  posy to take home.
