Walks and TalksThe Wells area group of Somerset Wildlife Trust organise monthly walks in the local area from April until August, days and times vary. These are led by one of our members or someone with specialist knowledge, there is no charge but donations are requested towards the work of the Trust. We aim to arrange an annual trip of wildlife interest outside our area. Non members of the Trust are very welcome at all our events. |

Learn from the ExpertsWe arrange talks on the third Tuesday of each month between September and March at 7.30pm.Talks are held at Wells Museum, admission £2.50 SWT members, £3.00 non-members, and cover a wide range of wildlife and conservation topics. There is good access for disabled people and refreshments are served in the interval. The picture to the left shows participants enjoying a glow worm night walk. |

A coach trip to see the over-wintering birds on the Axe estuary.

About 30 children and their parents went to the Earth Science Centre for an afternoon of activities, here the children are examining owl pellets, before a visit to the quarry and a walk around the lake.
