Somerset Wildlife Trust

Work For Us|

Supporter Development Manager

£27-30,000 per annum, this is a full time role, based in Taunton

Are you a highly-motivated marketing manager, with an interest in wildlife, who can help us continue to grow our membership and supporter-base? Are you ready to take on a key role in a skilled and forward-looking fundraising team, which integrates digital and traditional media plus data analysis to achieve strong results? Could you motivate others within and outside the charity to help us grow our income and engage more people in supporting Somerset’s wildlife?

Our Supporter Development Manager will develop and implement plans to recruit, retain and develop long-term relationships with our supporters, including our 18,000 members and to plan our appeals and raffle. We’ll be looking to you to introduce new ways to develop support and optimise campaign performance across a range of products and channels so we can continue to achieve success.

You will be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind, and have the personality and skills to manage and motivate others, including our team of external membership recruiters. Knowledge of current data protection best practice and databases would be useful, plus the ability to juggle projects and keep everything on track in a busy environment.

Our membership is growing and we know we can reach more people in the county and beyond who can help us ensure Somerset remains wildlife and habitat-rich. Are you ready to help us?

Please apply by completing the Somerset Wildlife Trust Application Form and sending this with a covering letter highlighting how you match the knowledge, experience and skills requirements of the role to: recruitment@somersetwildlife.org.
