Volunteer Receptionist

We are looking for a receptionist to meet and greet our visitors, and handle enquiries, whether it’s face to face, on the phone or via email. You will be supplied with training from internal staff and be supported throughout your volunteering. The receptionist role is a crucial part of running the Somerset Wildlife Trust's Taunton Office efficiently. No matter your availability, if you are interested in helping us, we would love to hear from you.

Business Co-ordinator with Wildlife Trust Consultancy

The role is part time and involves providing support to the WTC (Wildlife Trust Consultancy) committee and general members to allow the group to maximise collaboration opportunities and operate as efficiently and pro-actively as possible with a view to developing both the capacity and capability of the network

Wetland Ecologist

Are you experience at work with nature conservation organisations and have a background in habitat surveying, habitat mapping and the collation of multiple datasets? Maybe you even have experience of wetland systems and have knowledge of fish ecology?

Somerset Wildlife Trust is seeking an exceptional individual for this exciting role within the Trust. The role exists to plan, coordinate and carry out a study of the wetland and aquatic ecological networks on the Somerset Levels and Moors using European eels (Anguilla anguilla) as a focal species.
