Welcome to the Polden Area Group.
We have a small committee that meets two or three times a year and would always be pleased if anyone in the area would like to join us. New ideas for subjects that we could cover are welcome from anyone coming to our walks and talks.
We charge £2 for attendance at the indoor meetings, which goes towards the cost of the hall and speakers and we provide refreshments. I do hope you can come and make new friends and expand your knowledge of the natural world at the same time.
We meet up again on Wednesday 1st February for a talk on 'Garden Birds and Citizen Science' by Roger Lucken. On Sunday 26th February Christine Billinghurst will lead a 2 hour walk looking at 'Trees in Winter' meeting at Combe Hill car park (ST 502332) at 10.30am.
