Event Hosts for Somerset Wildlife Open Gardens

(Various locations across Somerset)

If you love beautiful gardens and enjoy welcoming people this is a great volunteer opportunity – get involved for one day only or experience several of the nine  gardens in Somerset Wildlife Open Gardens 2017. Share your enthusiasm with visitors whilst raising money for wildlife!  Serving refreshments and taking entrance fees at the gate may also be involved and you will  need your own transport.   This is a new project which we hope will become an annual fundraising event for the Trust so it could be exciting to get involved at the start.

Volunteer Community Fundraisers

(Various locations across Somerset)

Our Community Fundraising Manager, Emma, zips round our beautiful countryside helping people raise money for wildlife in Somerset.  She is always keen to hear from people interested in supporting a variety of events (holding collecting tins, for example) or organising  their own fundraising events (such as tea parties … or even doing a skydive!).   There are many ways in which you can put a few hours to good use in raising money for wildlife.  It’s fun, social and a great opportunity for those wanting to learning how to be successful at community fundraising.
