Photo competition launched
Enter our photo competition to feature in our 2017 calendar
We’re looking for 12 stunning images to feature in our 'Wild Somerset' calendar for 2017.
Photographs can be of plants, animals, insects, landscapes or coastlines but must be taken within Somerset.
We’re particularly looking for photographs with a strong seasonal flavour and a landscape format is preferable.
Each photographer can submit up to four images and is required to supply a few words about their photographs
(e.g. where it was taken and when, and why what it captures is so special.)
Digital images only please - competition closes at 12 noon on December 31 2014.

CLOSING DATE: 12noon on 31 December 2015
- Entries must be of wildlife in Somerset or a Somerset landscape
- Maximum of four photos submitted per person - must be under 7 MB in total
- Sorry, no slides or prints.
- The competition is open to members and non members of Somerset Wildlife Trust.
Please remember when taking photographs of wildlife that the welfare of the subject is more important than the image. Check the code of conduct produced by the Nature Group of the Royal Photographic Society.
