This is a great opportunity to be part of a team managing some of Somerset’s most fantastic nature reserves, This new post is possible through funding from the Green Recovery Challenge Fund.
The role involves providing support to the reserve team at an exciting time for the Trust as we embark on the delivery of our new 10-year strategy. We are looking for a highly organised individual to provide general support to the team, including with the administration of our agri-environment scheme delivery and transition to ELMS; with our busy workload of ash dieback related activity; and with monitoring and reporting for a number of large new projects.
You will need good interpersonal skills and a commitment to deliver a high standard of work. Computer literacy, good numeric skills and an eye for detail are essential. You should be a team player with a flexible, yet methodical approach to planning and prioritisation.
You will be working from our office based in Cheddar, with some home working and travel within Somerset expected.
This post requires an immediate or as close as possible start date, and is a fixed term appointment until March 2023, with possibility for extension beyond the project subject to performance and funding.
