Somerset's Wildlife Garden: Badgers Cottage in March
About the event
Their garden is a work in progress where they are experimenting and learning, and where nature and wildlife are first and foremost. Don't expect an immaculate garden - they are learning to welcome weeds and even eat some of them. They garden organically using Charles Dowding's no-dig approach to build a healthy soil, and they are planning lots of projects throughout 2020, including a pond and planting more trees, to create a diverse ecosystem to help bring more wildlife into the garden.
Their cherry plum provides food for them and a visiting badger, woodpeckers, bees, and is home to nesting great tits and many more.
Kate and Dylan are welcoming visitors every third Sunday of each month to share their journey with you. For more information visit: www.morethanagarden.uk
