If you would like to get more involved with Somerset Wildlife Trust’s work as part of our LIVING COAST PROGRAMME you can join our Living Coasts Group. This group of enthusiastic volunteers meet regularly to share their knowledge about all things coastal. They help the Trust plan and deliver exciting events and activities such as guided walks, talks and workshops, help with surveying, monitoring and citizen science projects and assist with community engagement projects working with local community groups, youth clubs and schools.
We are also looking to recruit a team of Coastal Ambassadors who will become guardians of different stretches of the Somerset coast.

Somerset Wildlife Trust is part of a nationwide citizen science project run by Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. Its aim is to give people a simple way of surveying their local intertidal ecosystems to ensure we have good baseline data for the UK coast.
