WalkPracticalWheelchair access

Are you interested in learning how to make the most of your compost heap? Come along and learn all about how to make really good quality compost in your own garden. This three hour session will involve an indoor section looking at the variety of ways compost can be made and used as well as looking at growing techniques and how to make the most of your space.

There will also be an outdoor session in the lovely community garden behind the church where we will look at the correct mix of ingredients to make the best compost and have a look at one of the compost bins on site to see how it can be improved.

Please wear sturdy footwear and suitable clothing for the weather on the day. Participants are invited to bring a packed lunch if they wish to eat in the garden after the workshop.
