During the AGM from 11am until 1pm you will hear all about the work we have completed across the county and, get an insight into the year ahead.
Members’ Day Event: Vanishing Insect Numbers - Vanishing Somerset Wildlife? 1pm - 4.30pm
The Members’ Day starts at 1pm with a buffet lunch before the afternoon talks from 2pm themed: Vanishing Insect Numbers - Vanishing Somerset Wildlife? A panel of experts will discuss the importance of and threat to all wildlife in Britain, especially here in Somerset, and what we can all do now to avoid this looming catastrophe.
The talk begins at 2pm and the day will conclude at 4.30pm with tea and cake.
The AGM in the morning is just for members of Somerset Wildlife and is free but does not include refreshments.
The Members’ Day consisting of the AGM, a buffet lunch, panel talks, and afternoon tea is £12 per member.
You are also very welcome to invite a guest who is interested in our work and is not a member to the afternoon talks that start at 2pm. The price for your guest is £12 (plus booking fee) per person and includes afternoon tea.

FORMAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 55th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the SOMERSET WILDLIFE TRUST will be held at McMillan Theatre, College Way, Bath Rd, Bridgwater, TA6 4PZ on Saturday 9th November 2019 at 11.00am.
Nominations for elections to Council, signed by two members of the Trust and countersigned by the nominee confirming willingness to serve if elected, much reach the Chief Executive at the Trust’s Taunton office by midday on the 31st July 2019. Detailed information about the role and responsibilities of trustees is available, on request, from the Chief Executive.
The meeting will include approval of the minutes, reports from the Chair and Chief Executive, adoption of the audited accounts and election of trustees.
