Francis Farr- Cox will give an illustrated talk on the many and various British Spiders, explaining where spiders and other British arachnids fit into the animal kingdom. A description of a typical spider will cover anatomy and its functions of life, feeding, breathing and reproduction.

He will describe the variety of British spiders with emphasis on appearance and behaviour, covering the different methods of prey capture and also spiders who make webs and how they differ and spiders that don’t make webs at all.
