Sources of funding for projects
Biodiversity Delivery Areas are where the Biodiversity Partnership believes landscape scale conservation and ecosystem recovery efforts should be directed over the period to 2015.
The Somerset Priority Species List has been produced by SERC, with the help of a host of recorders, on behalf of the Partnership, to highlight those plants and animals most in danger of disappearing in Somerset. Species Statements on many of these Priority Species are now available on-line.
The rare wildflowers associated with arable farmland are a conservation priority for Somerset. The Partnership has distributed identification and management leaflets to farm advisors in the County to pass on to farmers. Anyone can download these for free from Plantlife
