Volunteer : What Can I Do? : Outdoors and Reserves

Outdoors and Reserves

Fox copyright Darin SmithIf you are keen to get hands on and out and about amongst our wildlife here’s how:

Practical Conservation Groups

If you would like to get outside and help the Wildlife Trust on reserves, the best place to start is by going along to your local practical group. FIND A GROUP near you, or look for the next practical event on the events page.

Volunteer Reserves Assistant (across central Somerset)

Each year we have a small number of vacancies for volunteers to assist our Reserve Officers for one or two days per week. This is a great opportunity to gain practical habitat experience as well as the possibility of some specific training. If you would like to work in countryside management or conservation, this could be the role for you. Please contact us for more information. Click here to view Role Description
