Mike is a well-known and popular local speaker having given talks all around Somerset and Dorset with the occasional excursion to foreign parts like Devon, Wiltshire, Hampshire and North Somerset.
After a general, gentle and light hearted introduction to the beautiful county of Somerset, we will be starting our virtual tour at Wells before crossing part of the Levels following the course of the Glastonbury Canal and former tracks of the S&D railway. From where we can branch to up to 9 other locations namely Brean Down, Town Tree Trail near Martock, the Deserted Hamlet of Clicket on the Brendon Hills, Wellington Basins, Mells, Limpley Stoke and the Somerset Coal Canal, Horner Water, Wayford Woods near Clapton and Clatworthy Reservoir.
A fun-filled look at parts of Somerset that many people miss, unless of course they manage to get out of their cars.
