You're a hedgehog hero!
Thank you so much for signing up to be part of our Homes for hedgehogs campaign. Here's what to expect next...
Step 1: If you opted in to receive a pack in the post, these will be sent out on 17 July. If you requested a digital download - you will receive an email shortly telling you how to download your pack. If your email doesn’t seem to have arrived, you may need to check your junk folder.
Step 2: From the 1st August you will start to receive regular emails giving you lots of hedgehog friendly hints and tips to help your friendly neighbourhood hogs. We’ll be covering useful topics such as what hedgehogs like to eat, how to build a hedgehog house and what to do if the hedgehogs in your garden are sick or injured and much more. We’ll also be telling you about some of the fantastic work that communities across Somerset are doing to protect their hedgehogs.
Step 3: We’ll be launching a special citizen science project between 11th and 18th September, when we’ll be asking you to officially record your hedgehog sightings so we can get a more complete picture of the number and distribution of hedgehogs across the county. Then we’ll be able to identity where our hogs most need help.
