Families from Somerset enjoyed four days of exciting outdoor activities all across the Quantocks with Somerset Wildlife Trust.
Parents and children took part in a fossil hunt, beach clean, stream dipping and woodland games during the half term holiday as part of their John Muir award, an environmental award which celebrates wild spaces.
Throughout the week participants discovered, explored and helped conserve areas of the Quantock Hills from Kilve Beach to Cothelstone Hill and Great Wood (pictured.)
Jessy Emery, Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Education Manager said:”The week was a great success and gave families the chance to find out more about the important environment and wildlife of the area.”
The week was part of the Somerset Wildlife Trust ‘Go Wild’ project funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
