Photographer Don McCullin, CBE, is holding an exhibition entitled 'Somerset Landscapes' in support of the Trust’s Selwood Living Landscape Programme.

Don is one of Britain’s greatest photographers, better known for his work recording wars around the world. His recent work has concentrated more on landscape photography around the area where he lives in Somerset.

Don is the author of many books including his 1990 autobiography, Unreasonable Behaviours, and his most recent book, Southern Frontiers: A Journey Across the Roman Empire.

The Selwood Living Landscape Programme

The Selwood Living Landscape Programme is an exciting new approach, in East Somerset, to restore, recreate and reconnect wildlife across one of the major ancient hunting forests of old England - the Forest of Selwood.  Over the coming months, the Trust will be working with landowners and communities to explore the opportunities that the Selwood Living Landscape Programme could bring for people and wildlife.

You can find out more about the project by clicking here.

Venue

The exhibition is free to view, by visiting the bakery or café at At The Chapel, Bruton, Sep 26 to Oct 30.

Opening hours for At the Chapel are Mon to Sat 9am to midnight, Sun 9am to 4pm.
