About the event

Discover some of the amazing marine life found in the intertidal zone along the Somerset coast and help our volunteers carry out a survey species found on the shore. We also explore some of the important issues facing our marine environment and look at how young people can both volunteer and begin to prepare for careers in Ocean Science.

Our Youth Volunteering days are for those between 14 and 24 years old. We do not expect parents to attend with those under 18, you will be sent a parental consent form ahead of the event.

Notes: There will always be a member of staff or highly trained volunteer and first aider on site. Please note there are toilets nearby but they are a short walk from the beach.
