About the event

This workshop is part of our Somerset's Wilder Coast Project. It is being run to support two repeated outdoor sessions at Dunster Beach on 6th July and at Burnham-on-Sea on 8th July. It will be equally useful if you can't attend these later 'on-site' sessions.

This online session will be replicated at 6.30pm (if you can't attend at 4pm)

We will explore:

What barriers have attendees encountered when trying to enable learning to occur outdoors in natural environments?

Sharing of experiences attendees already have of leading sessions outdoors, with some reflection on what made them positive or negative experiences. How can  attendees empower each other with examples of good practice?

What skills and resources could Somerset Wildlife Trust provide to help enable learning outdoors such as transport, kit, risk assessments and wildlife ID?
