Taunton Midweek Conservation Group

Join this group which carries out practical conservation work within a 12 mile radius of Taunton. The group is an associate member of the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) and has Public Liability and personal Accident Insurance.
Today we will be working at Munty reserve, cutting bracken in the small top field.   Meet at the roadside 196131    Contacts: Jim & Jean Ayling 01823 337462

The group meets at 10.0 am and volunteers should take a packed lunch, drink, waterproofs and wear suitable (old) clothing and footwear. (BTCV recommend the wearing of safety toe boots.)  All volunteers are required to abide by the group’s  code of conduct:
a)    Volunteers must always carry out their tasks with care and consideration for the safety and well being of their colleagues, themselves  and the general public, primarily by following the Safety Guidelines given to each volunteer on joining.
b)    All volunteers must respect the instructions of the Site Manager, if  present, or the leader of the day.

Please contact the leader prior to the work day, as the programme is liable to change due to weather conditions etc.
