Freelance Features Writer for Members’ Magazine
Somerset Wildlife Trust

Somerset Wildlife Trust publishes a members’ magazine twice a year and will be relaunching it following a redesign in 2017. An experienced freelance writer is needed who will contribute features (and feature ideas) and edit news stories. The writer will also support the development of the magazine as a key communication tool with our 18,000 plus and growing membership. The magazine is also distributed to other stakeholders (both individuals and organisations) but its primary audience are our members who, mainly but not exclusively, live in the county and receive it as a membership benefit.  For more information click here.

Membership Sales - Somerset (Permanent)

Are you looking to take your sales ability to the next level, with excellent earning potential and varied working environments?

We're looking for people who can inspire members of the public to join Somerset Wildlife Trust and support our work.  Our teams work at a range of quality venues across Somerset (booked by our in-house team) such as shops, garden centres, county shows and events. Trustee (Voluntary Position)

To help us pursue our strategic goals more effectively we have recently undertaken a review of our governance structures. We need a top-quality Council with the right blend of skills and experience to guide our organisation through exciting yet challenging times. We are now seeking to recruit at least four new Trustees to support the strategic development of the Trust. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who have understanding of sectors where SWT works with experience in environmental conservation, community engagement, marketing and communications, high net worth fundraising, sustainable farming, business and finance.
