The Avalon Marshes Landscape Partnership Scheme is pleased to announce two new environmental conservation apprenticeships.
The posts are being funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund supported scheme, and provide a unique opportunity for two individuals to gain practical experience as well as a City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Countryside Management through Bridgwater College. The posts will last for 18 months and will provide a starting point for anyone interested in a career in environmental conservation.
This is a unique opportunity through which the apprentices will be employed by the Somerset Wildlife Trust, and also work with the RSPB, Natural England and the Hawk and Owl Trust, across some of the best wetland nature reserves in the country.
The Somerset Wildlife Trust is managing the application process, and details of how to apply can be found here.
