Trusts and Grants Manager
£27,000-£29,750 per annum FTE
Full time or four days a week for the right candidate
Are you an experienced Grants and Trusts fundraiser keen to grow income from trusts and grants to support the delivery of our conservation programmes and organisational development? Do you relish the challenge of working closely with conservation colleagues to develop funding bids and are able to translate complex information to write winning bids? Are you passionate about wildlife and conservation, and keen to identify new opportunities to increase our income from trusts and grants?
You are a strategic thinker with a strong track record in securing five or six figure level grants, either through working in a fundraising team or in conservation. You have excellent communications skills, are a natural collaborator and have an understanding of budgets and financial reporting. You will be able to identify and research funders, as well as have experience of reporting and overseeing funding relationships. You will be responsible for securing project and core grants from trusts, foundations, lottery, landfill tax schemes and the government, and experience of these funders would be helpful. You enjoy working as part of a team, and applying your initiative, technical skills and knowledge to help achieve success, and increase our impact in the county.
You will be part of a dynamic, energetic fundraising team and a charity working to ensure Somerset remains one of the most wildlife-rich and habitat-diverse counties in Britain. Are you ready to help us?
