'The 21st Century Wolf - a conservation success story?'
Wednesday 15 March 19:30 - 21:00
The Wolves and Humans Foundation is a registered charity originally formed in 1985 as the Wolf Society of Great Britain and is the longest established wolf conservation organisation in the UK.
They have worked with conservation projects in many parts of Europe raising awareness on many issues where the recovery of wolves was concerned. The talk will focus on wolf recovery in Europe in the past two decades and the work of the Wolves and Humans Foundation, as well as the outlook for the future as more countries respond to this success by seeking to control or reduce population levels, and how the Foundation is evolving to meet changing conservation challenges.
