If you would like to see a beautiful wildlife pond then come to the Miller’s House. This atmospheric mill pond provided a way of life in years gone by and now it is a stunning place full of dragon flies and wild flowers.
It is such a tranquil garden to visit. The Miller’s House is set in a small valley near the fabulous, not to be missed, Nunney Castle. Wander along the wild paddock at the bottom of the garden next to the river from the leat to Nunney Brook. You will find a perfect paddling spot! On the banks of the river you will see Caroline’s “Butterfly bank”, an amazing ridge covered in wildflowers and grasses.
Afternoon tea will be served on the lawn overlooking the mill pond, enclosed by the beautiful rose clad garden walls.
