Somerset Wildlife Trust’s special fundraiser returns for a second year and is proud to present the ‘Steam Tea Wildlife Special’  steam train ride with special VIP guest – Val Stones from TV’s ‘Great British Bake Off’. Val will be enjoying a cream tea with you, enjoying the stunning Somerset countryside and judging scones and jam on the way! 

 

Programme

2.05pm Local baker and BBC1’s Great British Bake Off contestant Val Stones, will be on the platform at Bishops Lydeard train station to welcome you on a journey to remember

2.20pm Everyone is invited ‘all aboard’ the historic steam locomotive

2.35pm With everyone seated, your steam train will depart from Bishops Lydeard train station on a journey through Somerset’s stunning countryside and coastline

3.00pm Sit back and relax whilst a scrumptious cream tea is served to you in your carriage

16.02pm You will arrive at Minehead train station with time to disembark and stretch your legs

16.30pm The steam train departs Minehead train station on its homebound journey

16.45pm Val Stones will judge your home-made scones and hedgherow jams

17.45pm You will arrive back in Bishops Lydeard train station
