Reserves Assistant (Mendip)

We have a vacancy for a Reserves Assistant who will assist the West Mendip Senior Reserves Manager with the practical estate management of a number of nature reserves as well as the implementation of reserves projects. You will be working closely with contractors and dedicated volunteers.  You should be physically fit, be willing to work flexibly and possess the necessary ‘tickets’ and/or certificates to operate a range of machinery and equipment.  You will be required to work alone but will also have the energy and enthusiasm to organise and motivate teams of volunteers.

We're looking for people who can inspire members of the public to join Somerset Wildlife Trust and support our work.  Our teams work at a range of quality venues across Somerset (booked by our in-house team) such as shops, garden centres, county shows and events. No street fundraising.
