Go wild and fundraise!

Got an hour to spare? Or more?

From adopting a collection box; to opening your wildlife friendly garden; to joining Team Wild and running, walking or swimming for wildlife; or simply nominating Somerset Wildlife Trust to be charity of choice for your local fete, fair or carnival. Whatever you chose to do, every penny you raise will go towards protecting our wildlife and wild places across Somerset.

We rely on the help of people like you to raise money for our work, and also to encourage people to get closer to our amazing wildlife.

So we’ve put together a fundraising pack full of tips, ideas and guidance to help you.

I think it is important to raise money for wildlife because it helps to make the countryside nicer for animals to live in and helps save their lives

Tea, cake and Wilder Open Gardens

Is your garden full of wildlife? Have you given nature a helping hand? If yes, could you host a Wilder Open Garden to raise funds for Somerset Wildlife Trust?

No matter how large or small your outdoor space is, Somerset Wildlife Trust want YOU to open your Wilder Gardens to friends, family and neighbours, to inspire others to make their own spaces more wildlife friendly too. And, if you were to include a little tea and cake, you could raise vital funds for wildlife at the same time.

Event marshalling for Somerset Wildlife Trust

Donating a few hours of your time to help as an event marshal or collector, will result in substantial donations to support our work to protect and restore wildlife and wild places here in Somerset.

This is a really fun, one-off, volunteering role, though many of our volunteers come back time and time again.

Add your name to our pool of event marshal volunteers today.
